Connect A Bluetooth Handsfree Device

Connecting Bluetooth headsets to your cell phone is a simple process.

Connecting a hands-free Bluetooth device is a simple process, as long as your cell phone is Bluetooth-compatible. Once connected you may begin enjoying the many benefits Bluetooth has to offer, such as hands-free calling. This feature makes talking on the phone much more convenient for those who are always on the go, running errands, chasing kids around or just multitasking.

Instructions

1. Turn your headset to "Discover" mode, which is done by turning on the headset and pushing the "Send" button.

2. Turn your cell phone on and locate the Bluetooth options menu, which is located in a different place on different cell phones. If you have a problem finding your Bluetooth application, simply refer to your owner's manual.

3. Enable the "Discover" mode on your cell phone and wait while your phone searches for other Bluetooth devices within close range. When it locates your headset it will display the name of the headset on the screen and ask you whether or not you want to pair the devices. Allow the devices to pair.

4. Enter the code that shows up on your headset into your cell phone. Once you've entered the code you must select "Continue" to allow your phone to continue syncing with your headset. Your contact list and phone information will download to the headset, which enables Caller ID to work on your headset.

5. Begin using your new headset to make hands-free calls.
