Direct connect a cell phone to your computer.
The Nokia N72 is a wireless cell phone that comes with a built in camera and portable music system. However, if you are looking to save the images from your phone onto a computer, or upload music from the computer onto your phone, you do need to directly connect the N72 to your computer. This is done with a standard USB connection cable and the correct driver installed on the system.
Instructions
1. Open the Internet browser and navigate to the Nokia cell phone driver download page (link provided in "Resources").
2. Click the "Download" link on the left side of the page and the driver downloads directly to the computer system.
3. Double-click the downloaded file and the driver installation wizard appears on the screen. Choose "Next" on the Nokia welcome page, then accept the end-user agreement. Leave the installation name and location as is, then select "Install" and the drivers install directly onto the computer.
4. Plug the USB data cable into the Nokia N72, then insert the other end of the cable into one of the USB ports on the computer.
5. Power on the Nokia N72 and the computer automatically detects the cell phone and connects to it.
