Install A Memory Card In An N95 Phone

Memory cards can expand the memory in a phone.

Nokia released the N95 phone in March of 2007. The phone has a 2.6-inch screen and two built-in speakers, which makes it an ideal device for playing multimedia. The phone itself only has 160 MB of memory, so if you want to hold a decent amount of songs or movies on the phone, you will need a memory card. The phone can recognize microSD memory cards up to 8 GB in size.

Instructions

1. Locate the microSD card slot. If the screen is facing up and the front buttons are closer to you than the screen, then the slot is on the left side of the phone, close to the front keys.

2. Place your fingernail, or any other small and thin object, into the recess below the microSD door. Lift the door out just a bit, then pull it to the right to reveal the hinge. Swing the door open.

3. Insert a microSD card into the slot. Make sure that the metal contacts on the card are facing up and towards the phone.

4. Push the card in to lock it. You will hear a click when the card is in place. Close the hinge and slide the cover back into place.

5. Go into the "Tools," "Utilities" and then "Memory" menus to see your available memory on the card.
