Pair A Motorola Bluetooth Hs710 With Motorola E815

Adding a Bluetooth device to your Motorola mobile phone creates a hands-free environment for driving your vehicle, working out and doing other activities that require the use of both of your hands. The Motorola E815 comes with Bluetooth capability. Pairing Bluetooth with cellular devices requires the devices to be in close proximity of one another. Make sure both devices are fully charged before pairing to reduce any technical errors with one device not recognizing the other.

Instructions

1. Press the "Menu" button on your phone and navigate to "Settings," then "Connection," then "Bluetooth." Scroll to "Link Setup" and turn on the Bluetooth functionality.

2. Turn off the Bluetooth device (HS710). Press the center button on the Bluetooth device for 10 seconds. A blue light will blink twice and the device will power down.

3. Access the main menu and navigate to "Settings," "Connection," "Bluetooth," "Link Hands-Free" and "Look for Devices." Your mobile phone will look for any Bluetooth devices that are within range.

4. Press and hold the center button on the Bluetooth device for 10 seconds until you see a blue light illuminate. When the blue light blinks slow and stable, it is ready to pair.

5. Select the HS710 from your cell phone menu when your Motorola E815 recognizes the HS710. Your cell phone may prompt you for a four-digit password. Enter "0000" as the factory default.
