Transfer Ipod To Itouch

Transfer the music from your iPod to your iTouch.

Whether you have multiple music devices or just got a new iTouch, having the ability to transfer your music and media from one device to another is essential for convenience's sake. You can transfer the material from your iPod to your iTouch using a simple syncing process in your computer's music player program.

Instructions

1. Start your copy of iTunes on your computer. Connect your iPod to the computer using the included USB cable and dock.

2. Click and select the iPod from the "Device" section located on the left-hand window of the iTunes screen.

3. Select the songs and media you want to transfer to your iTouch from the list of contents on your iPod. Click the "Sync" button in the lower-right side of the screen. ITunes lets you know when the process is finished. Your songs and media are now transferred into iTunes.

4. Unplug your iPod from its dock and plug in the iTouch. Wait until the iTouch appears under the "Device" heading in the iTunes window. Select the iTouch when it shows up.

5. Select the media and songs you want to add to your iTouch from the iTunes library. The songs and media you transferred from the iPod are stored in the library. Find them and drag them to the iTouch icon. Click the "Sync" button in the lower-right corner of the iTunes window. Wait for iTunes to tell you the syncing is complete. Unplug your iTouch.
