Most modern cell phones provide you with a variety of ways to personalize the model you own. You get to choose ring tones, wallpaper, themes and so much more. Icons are an integral part of each theme, and customized ones can give you the option of personalizing your phone to help reflect your personal taste. Making custom themes with cool icons is simple using an online tool.
Instructions
1. Go to a website that lets you make cell phone icons and themes, like Zedge, Own Skin or Astod.com (see Resources). You'll need to sign up on these websites and provide personal information to register.
2. Click "Create Themes" or "Make a Theme."
3. Click your cell phone model from the list.
4. Pick icon colors and styles. View different color combinations and designs to decide how you'd like to personalize your icons.
5. Find images for your phone wallpaper that match your new icons.
6. Click the "Save" or "Download" option and save the theme on your computer's desktop.
7. Connect your cell phone to the computer using its USB cable.
8. Go to "Start," "Computer" and open your phone's folder.
9. Open the Themes subfolder.
10. Drag and drop the .thm file from the desktop to the Themes folder.
11. Remove the USB cable. Go to the phone's Theme folder, choose the new added file and set it as the phone's current theme.
