Update your Nokia's firmware periodically to keep these features running smoothly. With Nokia Updater software installed to your computer, you will receive information of the latest firmware updates for your firmware. Each time you connect your Nokia to your computer, it will inform you of any updates, and installing them only takes a few minutes.
Instructions
1. Navigate to the Nokia Device Software Update website. Scroll down to the bottom of the website. Click "Download" to download the software.
2. Save the file to your desktop. Double-click the file and install the software to your computer's hard drive.
3. Plug one end of the USB cable into your Nokia E71 phone and the other end into your computer's available USB port.
4. Click "Download" to download updates to your Nokia E71 phone.
5. Accept the terms and conditions to download the current updates for your phone.
6. Wait for the update to complete. Disconnect your phone from your computer when prompted.
