Cell phone owners can set up personalized themes to change the onscreen look and feel of the handset. Themes provide maximum customization options for your phone's graphics. By creating your own theme, you can replace the default look of your phone to reflect your taste and individuality. Making your own cell phone themes is easy, as long as you have a nice image for the theme's wallpaper and background.
Instructions
1. Go to a website like Zedge, OwnSkin or Astod (see Resources).
2. Navigate to the theme maker page from any of the websites, and select your cell phone model from the list.
3. Upload the wallpaper, background image, and images for applications and pop-up windows. You can also select these images from the templates given on the website.
4. Add highlights, status bars and soft-key images to the theme. Also, specify a font color and style.
5. Click the "Download to PC"/"Download" button. Save the file on the computer's desktop.
6. Connect your phone to the computer using a data cable. Then, transfer the theme to the cell phone.
