Connect A Bluetooth With Pc Suite

Nokia PC Suite allows you to connect your Nokia phone using Bluetooth, USB and infrared. Connecting via Bluetooth lets you transmit data wirelessly, without having to maintain line of sight with an infrared port. Connect to the Internet using the phone as a modem, and transmit files such as music and pictures back and forth between the phone and PC.


Instructions


1. Turn on the Bluetooth function on your computer. Some computers have Bluetooth connectors built in, while others require a Bluetooth USB adapter. Check the manual that came with your Bluetooth adapter or PC for instructions on enable the feature.


2. Enable Bluetooth on your Nokia phone. Most phones have a Bluetooth option under the main menu, or on the Settings menu.


3. Click the "Start" button on the Windows taskbar, then click "Programs" or "All Programs" and open Nokia PC Suite. If the program is already running, click the phone icon near the clock.


4. Click "Click here to connect a phone" to open the Get Connected Wizard window. Click "Next" to start the wizard.


5. Click the radio button next to "Bluetooth connection" and click the "Next" button. The screen will show a list of Bluetooth devices.


6. Click your Nokia phone, then click "Next." The PC Suite software prompts you to type in a passcode. Type a numeric passcode and click "Next." The phone prompts you for the passcode.


7. Type the passcode into the phone, then select "OK." Select "Yes" if the phone asks if you want to connect.


8. Click "Next," then click "Finish" in the PC Suite software to complete the Bluetooth connection.
