Transfer Music Via Bluetooth

Transferring music between your media-capable devices, such as computers and cell phones, affords you the luxury of enjoying your favorite songs from multiple locations or while on the go. There may be instances in which you cannot establish a simple drag-and-drop transfer or access wireless Internet for an online transfer. When this happens, you can use Bluetooth to initiate the transfer if both devices have the appropriate connectivity.

Instructions

1. Turn on Bluetooth connectivity for both the sending and receiving devices.

2. Select the receiving device from the "Devices" menu on the sending device's Bluetooth utility.

3. Enter the receiving device's access code if prompted.

4. Wait for the receiving device to accept the pairing request. Repeat Steps 2 through 4 from the receiving device, selecting the sending device from the menu if necessary.

5. Select the "Send File" or "File Transfer" option from the sending device's Bluetooth utility.

6. Choose the music file you wish to send from the browser.

7. Select the receiving device from the list of available paired Bluetooth devices in the transfer dialog.

8. Enter the receiving device's access code if prompted. The music file will transfer upon the receiving device's acceptance.
