Make A Handsfree Headset Work

Charge your hands-free headset before use.

A hands-free headset makes it easier to make and receive calls, especially on the go. Hands-free headsets are safer to use if you feel you must talk on the phone when you are driving, since they allow you to keep both hands on the wheel. In order to use a hands-free headset, you must sync the device with your mobile phone. Syncing the headset takes only a few moments, and you should be able to use the devices together from then on, throughout the life of your mobile phone.

Instructions

1. Plug the AC charger into the charging port on the headset, and plug the AC charger into the wall.

2. Ensure the charging light on the headset turns on, and allow the device to charge for at least two hours.

3. Unplug the headset from the charger.

4. Press and hold the "Talk" button on the headset for several seconds, until the indicator light begins blinking rapidly.

5. Turn on device detection on your mobile phone by using the directional keys on the headset to scroll to "Settings" and "Bluetooth." Follow the prompts on your phone to turn the discovery feature on.

6. Enter the PIN code for your headset on your mobile phone after the phone detects your headset. The PIN code is listed inside the manual for the device. Alternatively, you can enter "0000." Press "OK" to finish pairing the headset to your mobile phone.

7. Press and hold the "On" button on the headset to turn the device on.

8. Place the headset over your ear, using the provided ear loop.

9. Place a test call with your mobile phone. Use the number pad on your mobile phone to dial a phone number, and press the "Send" button.

10. Press the "End" button on your cellphone or the "End" button on the headset device to end the call.
