Disable Bluetooth Pairing

You can disable Bluetooth pairing between your cell phone and one of the audio devices you connected it to. You sometimes want to do this when you have discarded an old earphone or when you want the use the audio built into your phone rather than the earphone or speaker it was connected to.

Instructions

Turn on Your Cell Phone and Go to the Bluetooth Menu

1. Press the green power button to power on your cell phone if it is turned off. If it is already powered on, you can skip this step.

2. Find the Settings menu. In the Apple iPhone, this is an icon marked "Settings." In smaller phones, such as LG phones, you click on the Menu button and then select the Settings icon.

3. Find the Bluetooth section under Settings. Select Bluetooth. If you want to disable Bluetooth entirely, you can turn it off at this display. Select OFF, and all Bluetooth pairings will be disabled. If you want to disable only one device, go on to the next step.

4. Under Bluetooth, there should be a list of current Bluetooth devices. Select the device you want to disable. You should be able to disable it by clicking on it, and then, on the iPhone, you can select "Forget Device." On LG phones, select the device and select "Turn Off."
