Get Texting & Calling On Your Ipod Touch

3. Tap the "Install" button next to the app you wish to install. Agree to charges if there are any -- "What'sApp?," for example costs $1.99 as of September 2011 -- then wait for the icon to appear on the iPod touch's "Home" screen.

4. Select the app's icon to launch and open it on the iPod touch. Make sure you're still connected to the Internet, then begin calling or texting on the app.
