How Back Up Your Nokia N73 To Your Memory Card

Backup Nokia N73 data to a memory card.

The Nokia N73 is a quadband smart phone with many multimedia features. The N73 has a 3.2 megapixel camera for taking pictures and recording videos, a large 2.4-inch display and a music player. The phone has up to 42 megabytes of internal memory for storing pictures, videos and music. Additional memory can be added using the phone's miniSD card slot. Memory cards inserted into the miniSD card slot can also be used to back up information stored on the phone's internal memory.

Instructions

1. Open the memory card door at the bottom of the phone and insert a miniSD card into the phone's memory card slot. Replace the memory card door after the miniSD card is properly seated.

2. Press the "Menu" key and select the "Tools" folder from the phone's home screen. Choose "Memory" from the options provided.

3. Select "Options" from the Memory menu list and choose "Backup phone mem." This will back up the data stored on the internal memory to the miniSD card.

4. Remove the memory card by pressing the "Power" button briefly and selecting "Remove mem. card." This step is not required as the miniSD card can be left in the phone. Only remove the memory card if you want to keep the backed-up information in a separate location from the phone.
