Copy & Paste On An Ipod

The iPod Touch is a type of iPod manufactured and marketed by Apple that utilizes a multi-touch graphical user interface. The touch screen allows users to perform many tasks and functions that they can perform on a traditional computer. One such task is the ability to copy and paste. With this feature, you can copy a block of text or a hyperlink to a clipboard and then later paste the text or hyperlink in a different place.


Instructions


1. Touch the screen of your iPod Touch as close to the text or hyperlink you want to copy and then quickly remove your finger.


2. Tap the "Select" option that pops up when you remove your finger from the screen. Your iPod Touch will highlight a word or a block of text.


3. Touch the screen of your iPod Touch where the text is highlighted and slide your finger to the left and to the right until the exact text you want to copy is highlighted. Remove your finger from the screen.


4. Tap the "Copy" option that pops up when you remove your finger from the screen.


5. Touch the screen of your iPod Touch where you want to paste the text. Remove your finger from the screen.


6. Tap the "Paste" option that pops up when you remove your finger from the screen. You will now see the copied text in its desired place.
