Cell phones usually do not have the option to create themes. Instead, they come with default sets of wallpapers, icons and color panels. In order to personalize your handset, you can install theme packages or create your own themes through online theme-creating tools. These tools are available for free, and can be used for creating themes for just about any handset model.
Instructions
1. Open a website that allows you to create your own phone themes, such as Own Skin, Zedge or Astod. Registration is required on these websites. Locate the "Signup/Register" button on the page when you open the website, and fill in the required fields with desired information such as your name, email address and password, to create an account.
2. Log in to the website using the user name/email address and the password you specified.
3. Click on the button that says "Create a Theme" or "Make a Theme" and select your cell phone make and model from the list.
4. Click "Browse" and select an image file from your hard drive that you want to set as your cell phone's background image or wallpaper.
5. Change other items that you want. You can customize the side panels, colors, battery image, clock style and templates.
6. Click the "Save" button to save the created theme on the website and download it on your PC by clicking the "Download" or "Download to PC" button. Save the file on your computer's desktop.
7. Connect your cell phone to your computer through the USB cable.
8. Transfer the newly-created theme to your cell phone's "Themes" folder by going to "Start" then "My Computer" and opening the phone's folder.
9. Unplug your cell phone from the computer and set the newly added theme on the phone.
