Pair My Bluetooth With My Samsung Solstice

Using a Bluetooth with the Solstice is considered a safer way to talk while driving.

A Bluetooth headset is used to transfer sound data with a mobile phone. The secure connection helps users to communicate without the need to hold the phone. The Samsung Solstice is a Bluetooth-capable phone that may be paired with a compatible headset. Pairing, or configuring, the headset prevents the device from being used with other devices. After pairing the Bluetooth with the Solstice, you do not need to perform any further programming to use the device.

Instructions

1. Touch the "Menu" key on the Samsung Solstice's standby screen. Touch "Settings."

2. Touch "Connectivity" and flick the screen up. Touch "Bluetooth."

3. Hold down the "Answer" button on the Bluetooth to place it in pairing mode. Depending on the model of your headset, you may need to also hold down either the "Volume Up" or "Volume Down" key with the "Answer" button. When the headset is in pairing mode, the LED light will be a solid color.

4. Touch "Search" on the Solstice's screen and wait for the phone to find the headset.

5. Touch the Bluetooth's name and enter the passkey. The passkey is located in the headset's packaging. Touch "OK."

6. Touch "Pair" to save your settings. Your phone will display a green indicator next to "Bluetooth" to indicate the pairing was successful.
