Turn Off Your Z9i

The Z9i is a Bluetooth mono headset made by BlueAnt. It connects wirelessly to Bluetooth-enabled devices such as mobile phones, PDAs, PCs and Macs so you can have hands-free conversations without being tethered to a wire. The Z9i has a built-in rechargeable battery, which takes about 150 minutes to fully charge. You can recharge it by plugging it into a wall charger or a USB connector attached to your computer. To save power, you can turn off the Z9i when you aren't using it.

Instructions

1. Remove the Z9i headset from your ear.

2. Find the "MFB" (multifunction button), which is located on the end of the Z9i. The "MFB" button has an image of an ant on it, which is the BlueAnt manufacturer's logo.

3. Press the "MFB" button, and then hold it for three seconds. The red LED will flash three times, indicating that you have turned it off.

4. Press the "MFB" button and hold it for three seconds when you want to turn it back on. The blue LED will illuminate. If the battery has sufficient power, the blue LED will remain on for up to five seconds. If the battery is low on power, the red LED will turn on, indicating that you should recharge it soon.
