Unlock A Blackberry 9530 Via A Usb

Unlocking your BlackBerry phone lets you switch networks.

If you recently received your BlackBerry phone through the mail, it may have a lock on it. This lock prevents you from using the phone with another wireless network. To switch networks, unlock your BlackBerry phone. To unlock via a USB cable, use mobile unlocking software. Fortunately, the process is quite simple.

Instructions

1. Dial "*#06#" and press "Send." Write down the 15-digit International Mobile Equipment Identification (IMEI) number. This number allows the mobile unlocking software to generate the right code for your phone.

2. Download mobile unlocking software to your desktop. Examples include Unlock to Talk, Cell Corner and Files Tube. Install the software to your computer's hard drive.

3. Connect your BlackBerry to your computer via the USB cable. Launch the mobile unlocking software.

4. Wait for the software to detect your BlackBerry phone. Enter the IMEI number, when prompted. Select your country and wireless network from the drop-down list.

5. Enter "MEP" and "MEPD" into your phone. Enter the unlock code generated by the software. Wait for notification that your BlackBerry accepted the code.
