Cell phones have numerous convenient features. You can see who is calling before you answer, ignore calls, accept calls, use call waiting, send text messages and even browse the Internet on many newer models. Yet another convenience cell phones offer is Bluetooth connectivity. Bluetooth earpieces allow you to use your phone without using your hands, leaving you free to continue doing other activities while carrying on a conversation.
Instructions
1. Turn on your Bluetooth earpiece to begin using your hands-free capabilities. Begin by pressing the "On" button on your Bluetooth earpiece until it glows blue, which indicates it is in pairing mode.
2. Turn on your cell phone's Bluetooth activation mode, which is called Discovery mode. Discovery mode allows your phone to search for other Bluetooth devices in the surrounding area so you can connect to them.
3. Instruct your phone to pair with your earpiece when your phone displays the name of your particular Bluetooth earpiece. Pairing enables the devices to work together and shares your phone's information, such as your contacts list.
4. Take your phone out of Discovery mode and test your Bluetooth earpiece by making or receiving a phone call.
