Reset A Nokia Model 6102i

Resetting a Nokia 6102i is a simple task.

The Nokia 6102i is a flip phone offered by a few different wireless carriers, including AT&T. If you ever have issues with the phone or give the phone to someone else, you may need to reset it. Resetting the phone is a very easy task that can be done from within the phone itself. There are two options when it comes to resetting. You can restore factory-issued settings to the phone or you can completely wipe the phone of all stored settings and information you may have inputted into the phone, such as contacts.

Instructions

Restoring Factory Settings

1. Navigate to the menu on your phone.

2. Choose "Settings."

3. Choose "Restore Settings." Enter the security code for your phone. Default code is "12345" unless you have changed it to one of your own. Keep in mind, this will only reset some of the menu settings to their original values. This will not erase phone numbers saved in contacts.

Erasing All Data and Settings

4. Flip open your Nokia 6102i to the keypad.

5. Type in "*#7370#" on your phone keypad.

6. Confirm that you would like to format the device.
