Unlock your Nokia 1200 to use with any service provider.
If you enjoy your Nokia 1200 and want to keep it when switching carriers, you merely have to unlock the phone.
Instructions
1. Take the battery out of your Nokia 1200. You'll find the phone's IMEI number In the battery compartment. Write this number down.
2. Call your current provider and ask for the unlock code for your phone. The service rep will ask for the IMEI number to access the code. If your current provider refuses to give you the unlock code, there are several websites that offer free unlock codes for your phone.
3. Type in www.peeplo.com/Unlock+phone+codes+Free. From the homepage you will be able to select the phone you want to unlock and then you'll be asked to enter the IMEI number. Within a few minutes your unlock code will be sent to your email. You can also try www.unlock-free.com/ to get the unlock code as well.
4. Take the SIM card out of your phone and turn the phone on. Dial #pw+UNLOCKCODE+1# on your keypad. The phone will display "SIM Restriction Off." The phone is now unlocked.
