Phone themes for many phone models may be created online using various phone theme maker applications. Zedge.com is a free and easy-to-use online application that will create phone themes instantly. The Zedge Theme Maker web interface allows the user to customize the phone's wallpaper, background, icons and ringtones. The Zedge web tool is very easy to use and, in a few simple steps, the user is able to create a new phone theme free and online--with no additional software downloads or installations.
Instructions
1. Open a web browser and enter the URL for the Zedge Theme Maker website: www.zedge.net/theme-maker
2. Click "Sign Up" in the top right corner to create a free account.
3. Log into the new account.
4. Use the dropdown box to select the make and model of the phone for which the new theme will be created. Once the selection is made, a work area with five tabs will be displayed below the dropdown box.
5. Select the "Wallpaper" tab.
6. Click the "Browse" button and navigate to the selected graphic file to use for the theme wallpaper. Double-click on the file to select.
7. Click the "Upload" button.
8. Click the "Background" tab.
9. Click "Browse" and navigate to the selected graphic file to use for the theme background. Double-click the file to select.
10. Click the "Upload" button to upload the background graphic.
11. Click the "Color" tab and select a color scheme to be used throughout the theme.
12. Click the "Ringtones" tab.
13. Click the "Browse" button and navigate to the ringtone to upload. Compatible file types are .mid, .mp3 and .aac.
14. Click "Upload" to upload and save the ringtone.
15. Click the "Download" button to save and download the new theme.
16. Type a name for the new theme into the input box.
17.Click the "Create Theme" button. The new theme will be created and saved in the specified location. The theme file will have a file extension of .thm. Transfer this file into the Themes directory on the phone, and in the phone's "Settings" menu, specify the new theme.
