Guide For Replacing Covers On The Nokia 6233 Cell Phone

A screwdriver is needed to change the cover on your phone.

Many modern cellular phones, like the Nokia 6233, are designed so that the front cover can be removed. This comes in handy if you would like to customize the look of your cellular phone with different designs or colors. Even if you don't know much about cell phones or electronics you'll find that the process isn't very difficult. And the best part is that you can get it done in only a couple of minutes.

Instructions

1. Turn off your Nokia 6233 and slide the back battery cover off of the bottom of the unit. Lift the battery out of its compartment.

2. Use your Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws on the bottom two corners of the phone, just below the battery compartment.

3. Insert a plastic credit card in the seam between the front plastic cover of the phone and the body of the phone.

4. Work your way along the seam until the cover separates from the phone. Set it aside.

5. Fit a new cover over the phone and gently press down at the corners to snap it in place.

6. Replace the back screws, battery and cover.
