Nokia 7710 Specs

The Nokia 7710 is a touchscreen mobile phone with a bar-style design. The 7710 uses GSM technology to make calls and send messages, so you will need a SIM card for the phone to work. The 7710 is available in silver and was released in 2004. The main screen of the phone features icons of different features.

The 7710 is five inches tall, 2.73 inches wide and 0.74 inches thick. The phone weighs 6.67 ounces.


Screen and Battery


The 7710 has an LCD display screen that measures 3.5 inches diagonally. The screen has TFT technology and 16-bit color depth so it can show up to 65,000 different colors. The screen displays images at a resolution of 640 pixels by 320 pixels. The 7710 features a lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 1,300 mAh (milliamp hours). Milliamp hours measure a battery's life. The battery lasts up to 12 hours of constant usage or nine days on standby mode.


System and Storage


The Nokia 7710 has 90 megabytes of internal storage and a memory card slot for added space. You can enter virtually any amount of contacts in your phone book with each entry containing multiple numbers. The 7710 contains an ARM925T processor with a speed of 168 MHz. The phone runs on the Symbian 7.0 operating system. The 7710 connects to the GPRS network at a top speed of 48 kilobytes per second and the Class 10 Edge network at a top speed of 236.8 kilobytes per second.


Media


The 7710 has a media player for music and video. The media player plays MIDI, MP3, WAV and AAC audio files. MPEG4, H.263 and Real Video video files all play on the media player as well. The 7710 also has a 1.0 megapixel digital camera with two levels of digital zoom. Photos are taken at a resolution of 1,152 pixels by 864 pixels. Photos are formatted as JPEG files. You can also record and play back up to an hour of video with the camera.


Other Features


The 7710 also has a document viewer feature so that you can look at documents created in Office programs like Microsoft Word and Excel. The phone is also compatible with Bluetooth version 1.2 so you can link up with headsets and other phones.
