Connect a Nokia E51 to Outlook Web Access


Your Nokia E51 phone is capable of many connection options with wireless services, including the ability to connect to email servers and receive email messages. You have access to your inbox, mail folders, and the capability to send and receive messages wirelessly from your email account. If you have email through Outlook Web Access, you can access emails from your Microsoft account.


Instructions


Set up Outlook Web Access


1. Press down on the "Menu" button on your phone and then click on the 'Set up e-mail" icon. You can also select "Main menu," then "Email" and then "New."


2. Click on the selection for "Messaging" and then click down on "Options." Select the option for "Settings," then "E-mail." Select "Options" when the application opens and then click on "New mailbox."


3. Make sure that the email setup wizard starts up. Click the option to "Start e-mail setup." Click the option for "Mail for Exchange."


4. Type your email address in the address field and then type your password in the password field. The default password for many Nokia devices is "12345."


5. If you use a different username for the Outlook Web Access, type in the username. Otherwise, leave this field blank.


6. Type in the "URL" from which you access Outlook in order to check your mail. Click on the option for "Next." Wait as the message "Connecting to Mail for Exchange server" displays on the Nokia.


7. Read the terms and conditions and then click on the option "OK" when you accept. Make sure the window "What to sync" appears. Click on the "E-mail" option to sync your email to the Nokia and then click "Next."


8. Click the option for email to either "Delete from phone" or "Keep on phone." Select "Delete" in order to free memory on the device.
