Remove The Card From A Lg 260 Phone

Using your smartphone

The LG 260 Rumor is a high-tech smartphone that comes equipped with such features as Internet access, MP3 player and a camera. One feature on this smartphone, which is common to most newer phones, is a card slot that supports microSD cards. These cards are used to backup the information on your LG 260 to prevent data loss. The good news is that LG has designed the 260 to be relatively user friendly so inserting and removing your microSD card in the slot in your phone is a pretty simple process. In fact the only thing you really need to worry about concerning your microSD card is breakage, because they are very small and delicate pieces of plastic.

Instructions

1. Purchase a new microSD card from your local LG retailer (or online). Before you can remove the card you must first have a card in the device.

2. Open the thin access panel on the right side of the LG 260 and insert the MicroSD card bottom-first in the slot. The bottom is the side with the thin gold connector panels. Push it in until it is locked and secure in its compartment and close the access panel.

3. Open the access panel on the LG 260 and push the tip of the microSD card down. It will then pop up and eject halfway from its compartment.

4. Pull the microSD card out of the phone and close the access panel. If your card is broken or stuck in the compartment you need to take the phone to a technician to have it fixed. You can try and disassemble the phone yourself to access the card but any work performed on the device by you will void any warranty you may have on the phone.
