Keeping private pictures, videos and text messages safe is important, especially if your phone is lost or stolen. The Nokia 3510i comes with two locks, a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) lock and a phone lock, both for protecting your personal data. To unlock the 3510i you will have to enter the SIM PIN or security code (in some cases both need to be entered). Unlocking your phone with the correct codes will only take a few seconds.
Instructions
Unlock Nokia 3510i SIM Card
1. Switch your Nokia 3510i off then on again. A PIN code request will appear if the SIM card is locked.
2. Enter your four- to eight-digit SIM PIN using the number keys. The entries will appear as asterisks on the screen. Your SIM PIN was supplied when your purchased your SIM card. See Tips for more information.
3. Press the key beneath "OK" on the screen. The correct code will unlock the SIM card.
Unlock Nokia 3510i Phone
4. Switch your Nokia 3510i off then on again. A security-code request will appear if the phone is locked.
5. Enter your five-digit security code using the number keys. The entries will appear as asterisks on the screen. The default code is "12345." See Tips for more information.
6. Press the key beneath "OK" on the screen. The correct code will unlock the phone.
