Nokia 6120 Specifications

Nokia features phones for both business and personal use.


The Nokia 6120 is a smartphone that has been out since April of 2007 for overseas consumers and is not currently available from major United States carriers. However, it features a quad-band GSM 850 mode, which gives it an edge for use on U.S. networks. The Nokia 6120 cell phone is ideal for both personal and business use and it also supports multiple languages.


Voice Dialing and Speaker Phone


The Nokia 6120 allows you to speak a pre-recorded name to dial phone numbers instead of manually entering the number. The maximum amount of voice dialing tags or entries is usually limited to only a fraction of the size a regular phone book entry. The phone also has a speaker located on the left side that allows you to use the phone without a headset. Use the speaker phone in conjunction with the voice dialing feature.


Messaging and Connectivity


The Nokia 6120 features a complete email client that connects directly to IMAP, POP and SMTP email servers using a wireless data connection. The 6120 features text messaging, text to speech and instant messaging with (MMS) multimedia messaging service, which allows you to send video clips, audio clips, photos and or a combination of the lists. The 6120 has Bluetooth capabilities and it supports HFP, HSP, DUN, SAP and FTP profiles, along with PC sync capabilities.


Camera and Multimedia


The Nokia 6120 has a variety entertainment features such as an FM radio, music player, video playback, streaming video and it supports files such MP3, MP4 AAC and similar music files. The 6120 features a dedicated 2.0-megapixel camera with LED flash, panorama imaging and a self timer. It also features video sharing and video capture, which has a resolution of 320 by 240 pixels, with a recording speed of 15 frames per second.


Mass Storage and Software


The Nokia 6120 features a mass storage mode that allows the phone to appear as disk space on the PC when connected via USB, similar to a keychain USB flash drive. When using mass storage mode, you can transfer files between the phone and the computer. The 6120 also features S60 software on Symbian operating system with a 369 MHz processor.
