Forward Cell Phone Voice Mail

Voice mail messages may be forwarded to another phone.

Voice mail is a standard feature with most wireless service plans. Enabling your phone's voice mail inbox will allow you to receive messages on the cell phone when you are not able to take a call. If you receive an important voice mail message that you need to forward along to a friend or family member, you can use the built-in features on the phone. The voice mail message may be forwarded to anyone who also has a cell phone with voice mail enabled.

Instructions

1. Open the Voice Mail inbox on your cell phone.

2. Press the key used to forward voice mail messages. To determine which cell phone key is used for this function, consult the cell phone's owner's manual.

3. Enter the telephone number to which you want to forward the message. This number will be 10 digits in length. If desired, add an extra message along with the voice mail recording. This message will be heard by the recipient of the the forwarded voice mail. For example, you may wish to record "This voice mail is from Carla." Press the "#" key, or the key designated by your cell phone provider, to end a recording.

4. Hit the same button to forward the message as you selected in step 2.
