Connecting an H500 headset to any device is easy to do and only takes a few minutes. Before you begin, remember to turn on the Bluetooth function of the device you want to connect with your Motorola H500.

Instructions

1. Charge the Motorola H500 completely using its included battery charger before initial use. The charger connects directly to the headset, with an approximate charge time of two hours (less depending upon the remaining charge).

2. Disconnect the headset from the charger when the charge light is no longer lit.

3. Hold the Call button on your H500 until the blue light on the device turns on. It will stay lit after taking your finger off the button. If the light flashes or turns off, you need to repeat this step until the light stays lit.

4. Access the Bluetooth settings menu on your phone. If using a Motorola phone, the menu is accessed by pressing Menu, then selecting Settings, Connection and Bluetooth Link. Reaching this menu varies from brand to brand. Read your phone's user manual for more information on how this is done.

5. Search for nearby Bluetooth devices. If using a Motorola phone, select Handsfree, and then choose Look for Devices. How this is done typically varies from brand to brand. Read your phone's user manual for more information on this is done.

6. Select the Motorola H500 from the list of nearby Bluetooth devices and follow the on-screen instructions to pair it with your phone. If using a Motorola phone, select "Yes" or press the "OK" button and enter "0000" to pair the phone to the device. Then press the "OK" button again. The light on the headset will blink if the connection was successful.
