Driving and talking on a mobile phone can be made easier using a headset.
You can pair a Plantronics Bluetooth headset with your mobile phone to establish a secure connection with it. That connection will be able to make and receive phone calls. You can exchange data files such as music, pictures and videos using a Bluetooth headset. Using the headset with your phone can also help you to communicate hands-free. Although using the headset is not necessary for hands-free communication, many people prefer the convenience of using the device over using the phone's speakerphone.
Instructions
1. Press and hold the Plantronics headset's "Call" button until the LED light flashes blue and red alternately.
2. Press the "Menu" button on your mobile phone and scroll to "Settings." Click "OK" and select "Connections" or "Wireless Controls."
3. Select "Bluetooth" and select "Scan for Devices" or "Add New Devices."
4. Enter the passkey for the headset on your mobile phone's keypad. By default, the passkey for most Plantronics headsets is "0000."
5. Click "OK" and wait for confirmation that the pairing was successful.
