Enable Bluetooth Headphones

Pairing is usually a one time process.

Bluetooth headphones can be used with Bluetooth enabled phones to give you hands free functionality of your call features. To enable Bluetooth headphones, you must first pair them with another device. Pairing involves placing your headphones in discovery mode and allowing your phone to locate them. Information is exchanged, and your phone will then store the headphones as a trusted device. If you're just taking your headphones out of the box, you'll want to charge them fully before you pair them. Charging usually takes about two hours.

Instructions

1. Remove the headphones from the charging source (if applicable.) Do not power on the headphones.

2. Power on the device with which you wish to use your headphones. Ensure Bluetooth connectivity is set to "On."

3. Press and hold the "Power" or "Call" button on your headphones for several seconds. Release the button when the indicator LED lights either begin flashing rapidly or remains steadily lit; the LED display will depend on your model and brand of headphones. The headphones are now in pairing mode.

4. Select "Search" or "Add New" from the device's Bluetooth options. Wait several seconds as the device attempts to locate your headphones. The two devices should be close to one another during this step -- within a few feet for best results.

5. Select the name of your headphones from the list that displays. Enter "0000" when prompted for a pass code and press "OK." A "Pairing Successful" message will display on your device -- the headphones are now enabled and ready for use.
