Tell When A Motorola Bluetooth H385 Is Charged

The Motorola H385 Bluetooth headset was released in 2007 to provide cell phone users with an option to control many of the call functions of their phone without the need to hold the handset. The headset is powered by an internal battery. Motorola designed the H385 with an indicator light system that allows you to check the battery charge. By knowing the charge status of the battery you can determine if you need to continue charging the battery or if you can use the headset.

Instructions

1. Press and hold the two volume buttons, which are located on either side of the headset, for approximately five seconds until you hear a beep, to check the battery's charge.

2. Look at the indicator light which is located above the "Call" button on the front of the Motorola H385. A red light indicates the battery has less than 10 percent of charge remaining. A purple light indicates the battery has between 10 percent and 80 percent of full charge. A blue light indicates the battery has more than 80 percent of full charge.

3. Plug the small end of the USB charger into the port on the top of the headset and connect the larger end to a USB port on your computer. In approximately 30 seconds the indicator light will turn on. A red light indicates the battery is less than 10 percent charged. A purple light indicates the battery is more than 10 percent charged. A blue light indicates the battery is fully charged.
