Turn On A Motorola H500

Learn turn on the Motorola H500 so you can enjoy hands-free use of your cell phone.


The Motorola H500 Bluetooth headset connects wirelessly to your Bluetooth-enabled cellphone so that you can talk on the phone without having to hold the handset. The H500 uses an "over-the-ear" design, providing up to eight hours of talk time and 130 hours of standby time. To use the H500 with your cellphone, you need to learn properly turn on the headset. Phone calls you make and receive will not route to the headset unless it is turned on.


Instructions


1. Plug the square end of the charger into the power jack on the top of the Motorola H500. Connect the other end of the charger to an electrical outlet for approximately two hours, especially if you are using the headset for the first time. The "M" logo on the front of the headset will glow blue when the battery is charging and the charger will shut off when the charge is complete. Unplug the headset when the battery is fully charged.


2. Turn on the headset by pressing and holding the "Call" button on the front of the Motorola H500 headset until the indicator light flashes. The "Call" button is the only button on the front of the Motorola H500 and it is imprinted with a telephone handset icon.


3. Hold the "Call" button until the indicator light blinks and then goes off to turn the headset off again.
