Find Your Cell Phone Number

If you've recently purchased a new phone, switched carriers or have relocated to another country and acquired a new SIM card, you may not know your cell phone number. Now that so many people have cell phones, it has become less and less important to memorize phone numbers. Although our electronic devices often remember important data for us, it can be a frustrating and difficult task to find your own cell phone number. Fortunately, it's fairly easy to do.

Instructions

Find That Number!

1. Ensure your cell phone is charged to at least 25% of its battery's capacity.

2. Borrow another cell phone from a family, friend, or co-worker whose number you know. If this option is unavailable to you, proceed to step 4.

3. Use your cell phone to call the other cell phone. The 10-digit number of your cell phone should appear. If your name appears instead, use the other cell phone's contacts list to view your number. Note the number.

4. Use your cell phone to call a land line with Caller ID service. Your number will appear on the Caller ID device. Note the number.

5. Memorize your phone number for future reference.
