Unlock A Blackberry Verizon 8830

You can unlock a BlackBerry Verizon 8830 with the proper code.


BlackBerry Verizon 8830 users do not have the ability to use their device with another network provider until they unlock the phone. Your cell phone comes preinstalled with this lock feature, and each BlackBerry contains a unique code that you can obtain for a fee. If you know obtain this code, you can unlock your device and use the BlackBerry with another cell-phone carrier.


Instructions


1. Get your unlock code. Utilize an unlocking service to acquire this code for your BlackBerry device, such as CellUnlock, Unlock BlackBerry or GSM Liberty.


2. Take out the battery of your device to get to your SIM Card. Remove the SIM card and then put in the SIM card of your new network provider. Put your battery back in place.


3. Push "Menu," and then "Manage Connections." Click "Turn All Connections Off" and then "End."


4. Push "Menu" again and, this time, choose "Options." Press "Advanced Options," and, finally, "SIM Card." Push down your "ALT" button plus the "M," "E," "P," "D" keys in rapid succession to cause a customization menu to come up on your screen.


5. Push down your "ALT" button and enter "M," "E," "P," "2" at the same time. Enter the unlock code and then push your trackball for verification purposes.


6. Restart your BlackBerry. Go to the "Main Menu," and then press "Manage Connections." Press "Turn All Connections On" to unlock your BlackBerry.
