Transfer Contacts To A Computer Chat From A Nokia 6120

Nokia 6120, according to GSM Arena, has practically unlimited phone book entries and fields. The phone keeps detailed call log for a maximum of 30 days. The phone's internal memory is 32 MB. In addition to that, it also has a microSD card slot in which you can insert a card of up to 8 GB. If you have a huge collection of contacts in your phone book, you can transfer them to the computer for backup. If you need to send them to somebody else, you can send them direct to a PC chat window as well. You will need Nokia PC Suite to accomplish the task.

Instructions

1. Download and install Nokia PC Suite on your computer, if you don't have it already (see Resources).

2. Connect your Nokia 6120 to the computer via USB data cable.

3. Choose "Nokia Mode" when the phone asks you to select a mode. Now Nokia PC Suite will automatically launch on your computer.

4. Select "Contacts" on the main window of PC Suite. Nokia Communication Center will open, and your phone's "Contacts" folder will appear on the screen.

5. Browse through the list of contacts. To select them all, press "CTRL" and "A." To select a few entries, click each contact while pressing down the "CTRL" key.

6. Open the chat window (for instance, Windows Messenger's IM chat window). Right-click in the text box, and select "Paste."

7. Press the "Enter" key to send the contacts to the other person.
