Remove The Flip On The Sony Ericsson P910i

The Sony Ericsson P910i is a discontinued mobile phone featuring a flip-down keypad. One side of the keypad (visible when the flip is closed) stores the traditional number pad, while the other side displays a full keyboard. The P910i runs the Symbian mobile operating system. To dissemble your P910i, you'll need to remove the phone's flip. You may also need to remove the flip to replace it with a new one.

Instructions

1. Turn your P910i off and bring it to a table. Close the flip and view the bottom edge of the phone. You'll see a small panel between the charging jack and the flip. Pry the edge of the panel upward with a pry tool or precision screwdriver.

2. Pull the flip downward to open it. Grasp the top edge of the small panel and pull it upward to remove it from the phone. You'll see the two screws holding the flip in place.

3. Remove the two small screws with a precision screwdriver. Grasp the flip and lift it to remove it from the phone. It will automatically disconnect from the connection port.
