Reinstall Pc Suite Support

Nokia is a large, Finland-based telecommunications firm. Employing over 100,000


people, Nokia is, as of 2010, the world's largest producer of cell phones, selling phones worldwide. Native to many Nokia phones is the ability to work with Nokia PC Suite. Nokia PC Suite is a Windows-compatible program that allows users to transfer data from their phones to their computers, and thereafter to edit and manipulate that data. If, for whatever reason, one wishes to remove and reinstall PC Suite, this can be done.


Instructions


1. Open the "Start" menu, then click "Control Panels," and finally click "Add or Remove Programs if you are using Windows XP, or "Programs" and then "Uninstall a Program," if you are using Vista or 7.


2. Find "Nokia PC Suite" on the list of programs. Click it.


3. Click the "Uninstall" button.


4. Follow the uninstall wizard's instructions.


5. Open your Internet browser.


6. Navigate to Nokia's PC Suite Cleaner Web page. (See Resources.) This is where you will find a download link for Nokia PC Suite Cleaner, a program that will remove any last vestiges of Nokia PC Suite from your computer. These remaining bits may cause problems with a reinstall of PC Suite if they are not removed before reinstallation is attempted.


7. Download and open the program. Follow its instructions.


8. Open your Internet browser.


9. Navigate to Nokia. (See Resources.)


10. Find your phone on the list of phones, and then click the phone's image.


11. Click the "Download" link to download the Nokia PC Suite installer.


12. Open and install the program.
