Connect To The Internet Via A Nokia 6300 Bluetooth

Connect to the Internet Via a Nokia 6300 Bluetooth

As cell phones grew in importance and accessibility, one of the features that became included in them was the ability to display Internet sites. Websites with a special format known as WAP were able to be read by cell phones, enabling customers to access the internet, get email or download files to their phones. In terms of the Nokia 6300, the phone is equipped with a browser as well.

Instructions

1. Call your phone company and ask them to send a configuration message to your phone. You may need to provide them information such as your cell phone model, phone number and IMEI number (locatable by dialing *#06# on your cell phone.) Wait for your Nokia phone to show a "Configuration settings received" display.

2. Select the "Show" button when the message appears, then select "Save." If your network gave you a four-digit code when you made the request, enter it into the phone. Press the red "Call End" button to return to the main screen.

3. Select "Menu" on the main screen. Then select "Web" then "Home" to take you to the main website for your provider.

4. Select "Menu" then "Web" then "Go to address" to bring up a screen to enter a website URL. Select "OK" when finished entering the URL to go to the site.
