Just like most other cell phone companies, TracFone provides a voicemail service for many of their prepaid phones.
TracFone is a company that sells prepaid cell phones. The main difference between these phones and most other cell phones, is that there is no contract or obligation with TracFone phones. You simply purchase however many minutes you want and when you use them up you buy more--or you can choose to never use the phone again. For this reason, TracFone phones are sometimes referred to as "disposable phones." Nevertheless, they have many of the same functions as regular cell phones, including voicemail.
Instructions
1. Hold down the "1" button on your phone's keypad to call your voicemail mailbox.
2. Select a language, by choosing the appropriate number, when prompted by the automated voicemail tutorial. Press the "#" key to confirm your choice.
3. Enter a unique four-digit password, followed by the "#" key when prompted. It needs to be something you can remember, because you'll have to enter this four-digit password every time you change your voicemail settings.
4. Choose the type of greeting you want when prompted. Pressing "1" will simply notify callers of your phone number when they leave a voicemail. Pressing "2" will give callers your name when they leave a voicemail. Pressing "3" will allow you to make a personalized greeting for callers.
5. Say your first and last name into the phone, followed by the "#" key, when prompted.
6. Press the "2" key. Speak your greeting into the phone, then press the "#" key when you're finished. Press "#" once more when you're finished to confirm that you're finished setting up your voicemail. Press the "Power/End" key to navigate back to your home menu. Your voicemail is now set to greet callers.
