Send Text To Voice Over The Phone With Software

Text-to-voice software allows an individual to write a text message, which is then converted into a spoken message. In some situations, this is a convenient option, such as any time it is not appropriate to talk into a phone. There also is software available for typing messages on a computer as a text, which is converted to a voice message over the phone.

Instructions

1. Install a text-to-voice software on the computer. Software can be purchased at a store or through online downloading sources. The price will vary based on the software, though there are free versions available, such as Natural Reader 10 or Verbose.

2. Start the software and open the message system. Sending a text message to a phone from a computer source requires a messaging system that is compatible with the text-to-voice software and text messages. Most instant messenger systems have a text message option available where the user name is the phone number

3. Enter the text. Select the "Text to Speech" option or "Text to Voice" and listen to the text. Hit "Enter" or "Send" to send the text to the phone.
