Set Your Voicemail Messages On Your Nokia Tracfone

Set Your Voicemail Messages on Your Nokia Tracfone

Voicemail is a useful feature that is available on most cellphones, including Nokia's Tracfone. It allows callers the opportunity to leave a detailed message that can be reviewed later by the cellphone owner. If your cell phone is off at the time of the call, all calls to your number will go straight to voicemail so that you don't miss important messages. If your cellphone does not have voicemail service active, you can call your provider and ask that the service be added to your account.

Instructions

1. Turn on your Tracfone. Press and hold the "1" key. When your phone dials into the voicemail system, release the key. Your phone should say "Dialing Voicemail" when it is correctly calling into the system.

2. Follow the instructions to set up your basic voicemail options. You will set up your password, initial greeting, ring options and notification options.

3. Press "4" to change the greeting that callers will hear when they call your phone number. Most Tracfone users will be provided the option to record their own greeting or to use a standard default greeting provided by the company. Prompt the caller to leave their name, phone number and a brief message in your greeting.
