Copy A Ringtone To A Cell Phone By Usb

Connecting your phone to your computer via a USB cable is one of the easiest ways to transfer information to and from your mobile device. Once your phone is connected, you only have to drag and drop the ringtone you want to copy. The transfer will only take a matter of seconds, and you will be able to access the ringtone once you disconnect your phone.


Instructions


1. Connect your cell phone to your computer through the USB cable. Your phone will have come with a USB cable and CD software that will allow your computer to recognize your mobile device's drivers.


2. Open the folder where you have your ringtone saved.


3. Open your cell phone's folder on your computer. You do this by going to "My Computer" and looking under the "Devices With Removable Storage" list. If your cell phone is connected and recognized, it will be listed there.


4. Double click on your cell phone's folder to open it.


5. Right click on your ringtone file and select "Copy." A copy of your ringtone will appear right next to the original file.


6. Click on your ringtone copy and drag it to your cell phone's folder. Drop it in any clear space in the folder.


7. Remove your cell phone from your computer by clicking on the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon located on the bottom-right toolbar on your desktop.
